Refund / Return Policy (POS System)

This Refund Policy outlines when payments for the NIDS POS System may be refunded.


1. Subscription Fees

Subscription fees are non-refundable, as system resources are allocated immediately after activation.

Refunds may be considered only if:

  • A critical system fault prevents usage

  • Our team cannot fix it within 28 business days

If approved, a partial refund may be issued.

2. Setup / Installation Fees

Installation and setup fees are non-refundable, as configuration work begins immediately after payment.

3. Hardware Devices

If you purchased hardware (e.g., printers, barcode scanners):

  • Returns are accepted only for defective devices within 7 days

  • Must be in original packaging

  • Physical damage is not covered

If your hardware was supplied by a third-party provider, their policy applies.

4. Duplicate Charges

Verified double charges will be fully refunded.
Report within 7 days.

5. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription anytime.
Cancellation stops future billing, but does not refund the current billing cycle.

2. No Financial or Business Advice

Reports, analytics, and dashboards provided by the POS are estimates and should not be treated as professional financial advice.

3. Hardware Disclaimer

NIDS is not responsible for issues caused by:

  • Faulty printers

  • Damaged cables

  • Barcode scanner issues

  • Unsupported hardware

  • Poor internet connectivity

4. Third-Party Services

We are not liable for failures or delays caused by:

  • Payment gateways

  • Mobile money systems

  • Messaging services

  • Hosting providers

5. Data Accuracy

All POS reports rely on the data entered by the user.
NIDS is not responsible for inaccurate reports caused by wrong entries or misconfigurations.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, NIDS is not liable for:

  • Loss of profits

  • Sales reporting differences

  • Interrupted business operations

  • Misuse of the POS

  • Loss of data

7. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify NIDS from claims or expenses arising from your misuse, non-compliance, or errors in using the POS System.
